Good care has been taken to show the artwork as accurately as possible with respect to size, medium used and colour. The image you see online may show a difference due to slight variation between browsers, devices and screen settings and no responsibility can be taken for such inconsistencies. Any variation between the image represented and the actual artwork is not deemed a fault and such variation will not be a valid reason for return.
Purchasing
Payments through this site are taken through Stripe in Canadian dollars. You do not need to have a Stripe account to purchase; you can use the Stripe service to pay with your regular credit card. I do not store any of your credit card details.
Payments that are invoiced to you, after a direct correspondence, are taken through Stripe in Canadian Dollars. I will send you an invoice directly through Stripe. I do not store any of your credit card details.
Paying by e-transfer
I offer the option to pay by e-transfer within Canada. This saves on credit card fees. If you want to send an e-transfer, please email me to make the necessary arrangements prior to purchase.
Shipping
Please be aware that I am currently shipping to Canada and the USA only at this time. However, if you are outside of Canada or the USA, please contact me and I would be more than happy to give you a quote to send a painting internationally. Overseas and border-crossing shipments (outside Canada) may be subject to import duties and taxes according to the laws of the destination country. Any additional charges are at the customer’s expense. I have no control over these charges and accept no responsibility for additional charges.
How is my payment handled?
Shipping costs for Canada and the USA are included. Shipping costs charged to you contribute towards packing supplies, labour and transit fees and insurance.
Note : At the current time, shipping costs are varying significantly due to Covid-19 issues, especially on air freight. I reserve the right to modify prices accordingly on my website.
Purchasing with a deposit
If you would like to purchase an original painting over $800.00, you are welcome to purchase in stages. As the value of my work grows, I understand this can be a helpful option. A 50% deposit is payable to hold your painting. The balance can be paid the following month or in 2 monthly payments of 25%. Please contact me if you are interested in arranging this. Should you change your mind, a small portion of the amount will be retained to cover payment fees.
This is not a credit scheme, but an arrangement on trust, at no extra cost to you. Usual shipping costs and return policy will apply.
SHIPPING
I HAVE PLACED MY ORDER, HOW SOON WILL I RECEIVE MY ARTWORK?
Most orders will be packed and shipped within typically 7 business days. Pieces are sent by Canada Post, UPS, Globex, DHL or FedEx depending on the size and weight. If you need delivery by a specific date, please contact me first to make sure it can reach you in time. There may be an extra charge for rush deliveries according to your requirements.
What about large or high value artworks?
I appreciate this is a high value purchase - and a piece of work that has been many hours in the making. It’s important for both of us to make sure it is transported safely. Some couriers have limits on dimensions or what they will carry so certain pieces have individual requirements. You will be notified with shipping details with each product you are interested in. We will provide you with an estimated shipping charge. We will then contact you via email to discuss specialist shipping options before the artwork is dispatched. According to the delivery service chosen, actual costs may be higher than the estimated cost shown.
Can I collect my artwork from your studio?
Absolutely. If you would like to collect in person, you can select PICK UP at the checkout. Once you have placed your order, I will email you and we can work out a day and time to meet. My home is in Blainville, Québec.
Because no shipping is required, I will give you back 10% of your purchase upon pick up.
RETURNS
What if my artwork arrives and I don’t like it?
I want you to be fully happy with your new artwork so I offer a Buy-Back agreement.
If a piece is not as you expect, you have 7 days to contact me by email and request a refund. Once a return has been agreed, you are responsible for packing and arranging return delivery using the same service by which it was sent to you. Once the piece has been safely returned, I will refund your payment within 14 days. Refund is for the cost of the art minus the portion of the cost for shipping and Stripe fees.
What if my artwork arrives damaged?
All work is carefully packed and wrapped. if you receive a work that has been damaged in transit, please contact me within 7 days with a photograph.
What about Overseas returns?
At this time, I am unable to offer a refund or return on any product sent outside of Canada.
